Beauty lies beyond Sight

Now this one is a great catch. Have been inactive with my blogging and it is sad, but then the drought has to end. Do give this shot a good thought. Tell me what you see. This is one of my best mobile shots and the experts will agree. But it came naturally, not much of an effort. Ciao

What is Life!

A whisper in the Woods, a rustle amongst the Trees, trickling rain drops, a painting of the Clouds on a cold morning Sky, a cup of coffee with the rising Sun, a glimpse of the morning Rays filtering through the Leaves, a fist full of the cool earth, the clattering of the horses' hooves as they trot by, the plaintive notes of the Cuckoo with the first Rain, the crow of the Cock at the hint of Dawn, a brush of the east Winds as you laze by the water front, the sounds of the alive jungle as you tread by, the gliding swallows on a breezy day and the swaying trees dancing to the zephyr; then what is Life, if not Poetry in Motion.

Miss you Ma...

This was when I took Mummy to a park by the name NTR Garden in Hyderabad. It was a nice little walk and an animated talk (that we usually get into). Mom is like a friend who has veto powers. I enjoy seeing mummy happy and try to compensate the times we were away; whole of my growing up years. Any thing for you Mom.

Ekta

I always wonder about us humans. We are social, as well as we are born racial. We divided the world into colonies, states and nations, into languages and dialects, into religions, and then into race and colour. Though it may sound odd but we Indians are the most racist. If we look back to our childhood, surely there would have been one boy or girl whom we would have teased either for their voice, nose, or colour. East or West, colour of a person defines his limitations. All adds playing on TV in India feature a fair girl or a handsome boy who is also fair. I will leave it at this. The painting above done by a school kid, speaks volumes. To quote it in english, "Temples, Mosques and Churches have divided God, but please dont divide Man & his kind".

Monsoons touch base

Well they are here, the Monsoons bless Hyderabad today, the 9th of June. Two days late, but a relief to the parched earth. The influence of the Monsoons can be felt across India, soaking all classes equally, wetting all faiths similarly and refreshening the Nation and its spirit eternally.

Human Melee

A bee-hive of activity, this world is being marauded by one set of creatures, us humans. With the kind of evolution adaptation show by humans, there is no second challenge to us other than aliens. But if one has to introspect, then one will realise that we need no aliens to exterminate this living being. We are a threat to ourselves. To be more precise, we have become the Aliens we fear.

An Overcast Skyscape

The Monsoons visit Hyderabad every year on the 7th of June. This year however, we were left gazing at an overcast sky on that day. When the Monsoons arrive on the 7th every year, the elders who have been in ths city since the time of the Nizams, refer to this climatic change as "Mirag", as in "Mirag lag gaya".
However this year 'Mirag' has been delayed.
